Roskilde and Viking Ship Museum: The historic city of Roskilde, located on the shore of the fjord and distant 42 km from Copenhagen, was the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Denmark to the fifteenth century. Today it houses the country’s largest cathedral and the famous Viking Ship Museum.

Roskilde Cathedral: built with exposed brick in the twelfth century, is the first Gothic cathedral in Scandinavia. Here are the richly decorated royal tombs of a significant number of kings and queens of Denmark, 39 in total, starting with Margarita I. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995.

Museum Viking ships: Fascinating journey into the world of the Vikings and Valkyries. Here we discover the strategies and tactics of navigation of the famous Viking warriors. 5 vessels were rescued from the bottom of the fjord (dating from the ninth century to XI), and you could see replicas made according to original construction techniques, a documentary was also exhibited at the minicinema.
