Visit to the Danish royal history
Castle Tour: The Danish royal history appears in all its splendor when we visit the castles that are north of Copenhagen. Through the romantic Danish countryside we head to Frederiksborg Castle, where we will admire its beautiful interior as well as the adjacent Baroque gardens. Then we will go to the imposing royal fortress of Kronborg.
Frederiksborg Castle: it is the largest in Scandinavia, built in Dutch Renaissance style by King Christian IV. It is a gem of the Danish architecture of the seventeenth century. It has wonderful French-style gardens and its beautifully decorated chapel where the coronation of absolutist kings took place; high monarchical value, a royal residence until 1859 and is now part of the National Museum.
Kronborg Castle: the real strength and military topped by numerous towers is 45 kilometers north of Copenhagen, it is world famous because William Shakespeare summoned here his famous drama “Hamlet”. It was extraordinary epicenter of invasions and battles against the Swedish army. It has been declared Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. From here you can enjoy fantastic views of the coast of Sweden.
